Default Are women allowed to wear small earrings during Basic

Training and/or AIT?I leave in 1 week and want to know.? I heard from somewhere that women were allowed to wear small studs but men were not.I was wondering does every base have certain restrictions on the earring policy.I'm going to Fort Jackson for Basic and Fort Lee for AIT.

Just don't even take a chance. I hear that no earrings are allowed no matter the gender or circumstance. You don't NEED earrings anyway.

The only jewlery you are allowed to wear in basic or AIT is your wedding band and a religous symbol (ie... cross, star of david) and THATS IT!!!!Sorry dear, no earrings. Don't even try, or you will get screamed at.

You can't wear ANY jewlery AT ALL. Unless it's a wedding band, but even then, they recommend you don't wear it just in case it falls off. The only thing I took with me was a black, water resistant watch.

The standards to not vary from base to base. They are the same throughout. You can wear simple stud earrings, but you would do well not to wear them because you will draw attention to yourself. You are not allowed cosmetics, lotions, etc. of any kind. You use basic shampoo, deoderant, etc. There is no time for frills and none are allowed.Leave jewelry at home and have your family bring it to you when you graduate. You want to take as little with you as possible when you leave for basic. Check out these two links for loads of info about basicusmilitary.about.com/od/armyjoin/l/aaarmybasic1.htm :http://www.armystudyguide.com/www.ja...CT.htmIt's gonna be rough but keep your eye on the prize. Good luck to you!

Yes.As long as they are in the shape of a bayonet or hand grenade.Get real - women should not be in the Army - for that matter neither should men, if they are going to kill innocents.
