There used to be a chapter 19 paper that you could fill out that would forgive some of the debt. One way to get around hospitals is to tell them before you pay anything else you want a complete list down to the cotton balls and band-aids they are charging you for. If they can't verify those facts for you then you only owe for what they can give you a list and price for. Good luck.

Some times hospitals have a "forgiveness" program. you might want to ask them. when i injured my ankle i received the bill and couldn't believe my eyes. i was able to talk with one their social workers, fill out an income declaration, and my bill was forgiven.

If you're looking for a job in the finance industry, then it's important to understand insurance and how it - along with other things - contributes to healthy saving accounts balances. Whether you're looking for breakdown cover or wanting to compare home insurance, insurance is one of those things that - when it comes to an accident or something similar - will prevent you from having to scout the market for the best loans to pay off repair/accident fees.
