Default What is the legal timescale an employer has to

answer and complete a grievance hearing? Took a grievance out for bullying and harassment last October, I am still waiting for this situation to be resolved. Both parties have had the hearings yet no resolution. I have been signed off by my Dr for a year, even though I asked my employer about working in another department. I was told this was not an option yet they managed to place one of my colleague in another department after she went off sick for the same reasons as me. I have been on half pay since March 08, this has now finished. I now have no income nor savings as bills still have to be paid. I don't want to claim job seekers allowance yet I am not at liberty to look for other work as I am technically still employed by them. Any suggestions? Also I would be interested to know whether any other people have been or are going through the same things, especially those in the employ of local government or NHS.

As long as he is paying you there is no time limit but the longer he leaves it he will have to pay stress and interest so he should sort it out within 28 days ,USUALLY!
