Is it legal for an employer to force an employee to
pay for training that is mandated by the employer? This is a legal question. My brother works in the state of Florida. His Employer has told him along with all of his employees that they must pay for a safety training course so that the company can have lower insurance costs. Is it legal for the employer to make the employees pay? If they don't pay, it was said they will be fined. Is this legal as well?I'm not looking for opinions, as I think it's total crap, but actual Legal advice or direction to find it.
