What's your opinion about your
boss/employer? The majority of Greek employers have the impression that their employees are trash and should be treated that way. They all seem to think that just because someone needs to work that it gives the employers the right to make comments like: you can all go to h*ll, or I'm sick of you lot. They just don't understand that being nice to someone, giving them an encouraging word will get better results in the end.Our boss comes into the office each day with a sour look and is always complaining. If someone makes any mistakes, instead of speaking to her/him in private, he walks around making harsh remarks about the "you lot". I think that all employers should be forced at least once a year to work as an employee only to remind them how it is and what is important to them. How a pleasant face and a "well done" once in a while helps boost production. I find myself at times wondering why the heck we spend so many years in school and collage, killing our self to get a degree only and only to be treated like trash?Does your boss treat you nicely? Please state which country you live in. I live in Greece. At the moment, jobs are scarce especially for a 52 year old woman. Note that our office is small and consists of 7 employees from the age of 32 to 67. My boss is 46. He speaks to all of us in the same manner.
