boss/employer? The majority of Greek employers have the impression that their employees are trash and should be treated that way. They all seem to think that just because someone needs to work that it gives the employers the right to make comments like: you can all go to h*ll, or I'm sick of you lot. They just don't understand that being nice to someone, giving them an encouraging word will get better results in the end.Our boss comes into the office each day with a sour look and is always complaining. If someone makes any mistakes, instead of speaking to her/him in private, he walks around making harsh remarks about the "you lot". I think that all employers should be forced at least once a year to work as an employee only to remind them how it is and what is important to them. How a pleasant face and a "well done" once in a while helps boost production. I find myself at times wondering why the heck we spend so many years in school and collage, killing our self to get a degree only and only to be treated like trash?Does your boss treat you nicely? Please state which country you live in. I live in Greece. At the moment, jobs are scarce especially for a 52 year old woman. Note that our office is small and consists of 7 employees from the age of 32 to 67. My boss is 46. He speaks to all of us in the same manner.

do you actually live in greece, or is this a greek migrant boss? well if your boss is that mean, vote with your feet and find a job somewhere else. hope that doesn't sound too idealistic. i once had a total butt-hole as a boss, he kept yelling at me and always cutting my breaks short. i left that jerk so im happy.

my ex-boss(I'm currently unemployed)was nice. I'll say he was nice but he was also a bit of the type that could expected to have things his way or the highway even if they were counter-productive. he would much rather see the store I used to work at go down in flames under his terms than see it rise up to the top on somebody elses.he wasn't an @$$#0L3, I'll give him that much, but for somebody who was a "manager" for 6 years, he sure doesn't seem like it. by the way did I mention that if you kiss his @$$ that you can actually get a raise and hours that you don't deserve? by the way this is in the United States. but I will admit though there aren't exactly a whole lot of bosses that anybody would like and I you do have the sh!ttier end of the stick. and I agree, all bosses should work one week or more as a regular employee to see what it's like for us.

US.I have had some very nice bosses when I was young & attractive, generically speaking... I also made a lot more money in tips too.I'm middle age w/ kid and hubby, I have found that my bosses could give a crap. I use to work for a nonprofit for disabled kids and the founder actually ripped me off. She started me out $10/hr lower than my other non minority co workers. I didn't discuss my rate with anyone and no one discussed theirs so I didn't know. When she heard she could be sued she covered her tracks. Another employee threaten to report her to the EEOC after doing my first payroll. I was more qualified than the other teachers by experience and degree plus grad work in my field. My other boss was a principal of two schools. She didn't try to handle issues that arose under her leadership. Instead she blamed the staff and parents for her incompetence. She recently lost the Academy for learning and is now having to explain her ineptitude on her charter school. I currently have the best boss in the world right now...I am exploring teaching private sessions now...lol!

They're dinosaurs. They can get the 100% performance from their employees out of fear but not the 150% a loyal employee is willing give.

If you're looking for a job in the finance industry, then it's important to understand insurance and how it - along with other things - contributes to healthy saving accounts balances. Whether you're looking for breakdown cover or wanting to compare home insurance, insurance is one of those things that - when it comes to an accident or something similar - will prevent you from having to scout the market for the best loans to pay off repair/accident fees.

A very big thank you to
