Default Junior PFI/PPP Consultants required for Project Finance Advisory Team, London

To apply please email your CV to jason.absalom@parhamconsulting.com
Salary: As per experience plus competitive bonus and good benefits
Location: London

The Company and Situation:

This is one of the country’s top ten accountancy firms, but you don’t have to be a qualified accountant to be eligible for this role! They are looking for people from all areas of PFI/PPP! This is a non-Big 4 firm, but their Project Finance team consists almost entirely of ex-Big 4 staff! This is an exciting and fast-growing place to be right now, with a friendly culture and a whole host of opportunities in many directions.

They are now seeking new members at Executive level (at least 2 years post-graduate experience) for their Project Finance and modelling team to advise local authority and private sector clients on commercial and financial aspects of PFI/PPP and related capital projects.

The Experience Required:

The experience required to be eligible for this role is as follows:

• A relevant degree
• At least 2 years of experience in capital projects and development schemes in either the Education, Transport or Social Housing sectors
• At least some of this experience must have been PFI/PPP
• Basic Financial Modelling capability

Please note, the above criteria are essential. You require all of the above to be eligible for this role.

Although this is an accountancy firm, they are not necessarily seeking accountants or those who have come up through the financial route. You could even be working for a PFI/PPP Contractor in a Bid Management role having come from a Quantity Surveying background, or be from a Local Authority background, as long as you meet the above criteria.

The Role:

You will be responsible for helping to develop and maintain relationships with key local authority, public and private sector clients and for assisting the Partners and Directors in delivering the corporate business plan. Work will also include developing relationships with funders, legal and other advisors in the market.

The Opportunity – why work here?

Firstly, growth. The company are looking to grow this Project Finance team and have a lot of support to do so. There is the opportunity to develop your career within the Corporate Finance division of which the PFI and PPP advisory unit is a part of.

Secondly, with the company currently diversifying its services there are cross-business opportunities as well, the chance to move horizontally into other sectors. You won’t get stuck in one sector here, but have the chance to work in a variety of sectors. They are a centre of excellence for the education sector and clear market leaders in independent schools, technical colleges and academies.

The company puts a great deal of time and commitment into investing in staff and there is opportunity to progress right the way up through the organisation, as they prefer to recruit from within and promote their own people. In short, you will learn a lot here!

PLEASE NOTE: For this job, you need experience in PFI or PPP as stated above. Please be aware that there is no point in applying if there is no mention of PFI or PPP anywhere at all on your CV.

If you're looking for a job in the finance industry, then it's important to understand insurance and how it - along with other things - contributes to healthy saving accounts balances. Whether you're looking for breakdown cover or wanting to compare home insurance, insurance is one of those things that - when it comes to an accident or something similar - will prevent you from having to scout the market for the best loans to pay off repair/accident fees.

A very big thank you to
