Default Is it necessary to quarantine Goby fish?

I am planning on buying a goby fish to do some cleaning on my saltwater tank and I normally quarantine all my fish for at least 3 weeks. I am wondering...1- Do Gobies carry any disease?2- Can I quarantine Gobies using copper treatment? (if so, for how long?)3- Would it be okay to quarantine a goby in a tank that has no sand? (I know they are sand lovers, but I am not sure they can survive without it). Thanks a millinon!

gobbies like any other fish can carry diseases. so yes a quarantine would be smart... 2 weeks shouild be alright.as for copper treatment i would suggest you use your normal salts and such. if a problem occurs or you see a disease sign use treatments.as for sand... alittle wouldnt go astray. atleast he will be happier. but its not a must...reards, rob

If you're looking for a job in the finance industry, then it's important to understand insurance and how it - along with other things - contributes to healthy saving accounts balances. Whether you're looking for breakdown cover or wanting to compare home insurance, insurance is one of those things that - when it comes to an accident or something similar - will prevent you from having to scout the market for the best loans to pay off repair/accident fees.
