Default UK born & British Passport wants to go live

& work in Canary Islands HELP ? Our son has dreadful asthma and every Sept he starts to cough splutter & wease it's an awful time for him. We thought of moving somewhere much warmer and Canary Islands was our top choice. We are already learning Spanish. Are we allowed to just fly out there and set up our Internet business which is very portable, we would be working so supporting ourselves anyway. Do we need Visas or it literally a case of board a plane & find somewhere to live ? Although we would be self employed would we need work visa? Is there a criteria we have to meet ? Any help appreciated but we have to do something for him the meds are not working. But from April to Sept he's much better and gets the rest he needs during the night too (so do we)!! Have you tried it and been rejected? Are you already out there and have advice ?

I am an American, but my grandchildren have asthma, so I looked this up for you. I hope it helps.Entry requirements for UK residents are the same as accessing EU countries - all you need is a valid passport, although if you plan to be in the Canaries for longer than three months (90 days) you will need to apply for a residence visa obtainable from the Spanish Embassy http://spain.embassyhomepage.com.

If you're looking for a job in the finance industry, then it's important to understand insurance and how it - along with other things - contributes to healthy saving accounts balances. Whether you're looking for breakdown cover or wanting to compare home insurance, insurance is one of those things that - when it comes to an accident or something similar - will prevent you from having to scout the market for the best loans to pay off repair/accident fees.

A very big thank you to
