Default Fish sauce question...?

Have you ever used fish sauce before? What have you used it for?My friend made stew with fish sauce and I am really a little confused as to what the point is.It is not necessarily fishy tasting.Comments appreciated.

Fish sauce is an ingredient used often in Asian cuisine like Thai, Vietnamese, etc. You can use it for stir-fries, asian soups, asian noodle dishes, and the like. And you're right, it's not necessarily fishy. In a pinch, you can replace it with soy sauce, but you lose a particular flavor that the fish sauce gives. My experience with fish sauce is that even though the name sounds fishy (pun intended...couldn't help it, sorry ), it's a great ingrediant to have on hand if you like cooking Asian-style dishes.

If you're looking for a job in the finance industry, then it's important to understand insurance and how it - along with other things - contributes to healthy saving accounts balances. Whether you're looking for breakdown cover or wanting to compare home insurance, insurance is one of those things that - when it comes to an accident or something similar - will prevent you from having to scout the market for the best loans to pay off repair/accident fees.
