X360.... cheaper, better online service.
Sure, less "hardware" but for the person who isn't a heir or heiress, the 360 is better.

Of course PS3 is better than XBox 360..
Here is the system of ps3!!
The basic configuration of the console has a 20 GB internal hard drive. The "premium" version of the PlayStation 3 comes with an internal 60 GB 2.5" Serial ATA hard drive, IEEE 802.11b/g Wi-Fi connectivity, multiple flash memory card readers (SD/MultiMedia Card, CompactFlash, Memory Stick) and features a chrome-colored trim. Both consoles feature a silver-colored text logo on the top face of the system. The hard drive is upgradeable, using the standard Serial ATA interface. No official Wi-Fi or flash memory card adapters have yet been released by Sony, although plans for such add-ons are in place.Nevertheless, as both models feature four USB 2.0 ports, wireless networking and flash memory card support can already be obtained through the use of widely available external USB adapters. No high-definition video cables are included; instead, a composite video/stereo audio cable ships with the system. While Sony has released an official PS3 component cable, the official PS2 component cables are compatible with the PS3, as both consoles use the same AV Multi Out jack.
But, I think its not as hot as PS2...The graphic as same as ps2 and just the background of ps3 look more real

I would say xbox 360 cause if you have windows vivsta on you computer, you can contect you xbox 360 to your computer and there is this thing that is called vongo that you can download movies and you can watch them as many times as you want. it is also easer to do xbox live. and the best thing is you can play halo 3 when it comes out in september.

Hi there,
PS3 is by far the superior system but ya it costs a lot. I have both systems and since getting the PS3 I have not even turned on the 360. But then I use my PS3 not just for gamming: it's my dvd player and cd player as well. With the 360, I could play cds but the sound was crappy and I could not watch movies. I also use the wireless connector with the PS3 and leech signals for internet connection. Sure, it's not a full computer but I can at least access the web and do a bit of poking (I don't own a computer) and if I really wanted to I could download Lynux to bump up the computer capabilities.
The main drawback for me really, even with both systems but more so with PS3, is that there are simply no games that I am interested in playing and there's nothing new to come out till November! One thing to mention is that the PS3 on line community is FREE; Xbox requires you to buy a silver or gold membership and then you have monthly fees. Even to get a patch or update I need to PAY microsoft to fix a problem they made; with the PS3 since I leech a signal I don't have to pay anthing: all updates are free and their on line community is free. And frankly I hate microsoft. Period.
Cheers.

Depends on what you mean by "better". If you're talking technical specifications, the PS3 is superior to the 360...unfortunately, that's not what's makes a system these days. The 360 has a pretty big game library with some amazing games (Gears of War, Command & Conquer 3, Forza Motorsport 2, Call of Duty 2 & 3, Fight Night Round 3, to name a small few), along with a great online community that not only connects you with other players but also gives you access to classic arcade game downloads and game add-ons (which vary from extra multiplayer maps to update patches depending on the game)--sure they charge you, but they charge you something like $60 a year, which works out to about $5 a month.
In addition to all that, the premium PS3 costs $200 more than the premium 360, and it doesn't seem proportionally so, given the few features you get from a PS3 that you wouldn't from a 360 (BluRay, flash card readers). Bottom line is this: if you want a system that's good at playing movies and music, get a PS3. If you want a system that's good at playing games and movies and music, get a 360.
~Scottie
P.S. I want to point out that someday, the PS3 may surpass the 360 as the overall better system--but until the technical issues stop and their exclusive games stop jumping ship to release on all the consoles, Microsoft will have the superior system.
