Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 plus good benefits package

THE COMPANY:
A leading international provider of critical support services for public authorities and corporate organisations is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to manage the operational aspect of the Soft FM contract for a brand new PFI hospital.
THE ROLE:
In this role, you would be second-in-command to the Contract Manager and the first point of contact on a day-to-day basis with the client. Your main task is to ensure the delivery of domestic, portering, linen, waste, security, reception and helpdesk services, making sure the service delivered is in line with contractual requirements.
THE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Consequently, the experience required for this position is as follows:
• At least 3 years experience in managing a Facilities Management Contract, for Soft Services
• At least 1 year of experience in a relatively senior management position, where you have been responsible for running more than one department.
• Ambitious, with a desire to progress your career
Please note that the above criteria are essential: You require all of the above to be eligible for this role. Desirable, but not essential, is having gained the above Facilities Management experience in a Healthcare environment.
There is a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities in this role, including, but not limited to: training, monitoring and co-ordinating staff; ensuring plans and schedules meet service delivery standards to the extent that contract conditions are met; ensure processes are in place to produce staff efficiency; ensure processes are followed that meet Health & Safety and Legal requirements; work with support managers to record service activities in order to identify areas where efficiency can be improved.
