Default What kind of shoes to wear with a strapless black...

...dress? I am going to a wedding this weekend and I'm wearing a black strapless dress with a white "ribbon" type thing under my boobs that ties in the back. The dress falls above my knees. What kind of shoe would you recommend wearing with the dress? Peep toe? Pumps? Strappy?? HELP!!!!

If your going to wear a sweater, maybe a white little shrug, you can wear white pumps. If your not going to wear anything on top, go for the strappy heels. Try finding some shiny strappy ones. That would look nice.

You can wear any color except earthy tones. I'd suggest pumps because your dress is shorter. I wouldn't go for anything strappy or peep-toe or sandal type because a short strapless dress shows enough skin as it is. Showing feet would just clash in my opinion. Some black patent leather pumps should be perfect.... if you're going to wear colored pumps make sure you dress up your dress with plenty of matching jewelry.

I wore a really short black dress with black and yellow BCBG pumps. I had black earrings and a long strand of big yellow beads from Urban Outfitters wrapped around once, and a yellow clutch purse. People loved it.

Peep toes or strappy sandals w/ heels.

If you choose peep toes - black leather or fabric w/ a white trim to match the ribbon on your dress would be elegant.

As for strappy sandals - black leather, patent leather or fabric would be nice. Silver metallic would be pretty too.

A classic shoe for a classic dress would be my choice. If it's a daytime wedding, choose a simple high-heeled sandal in black leather or fabric. For an evening wedding, I'd go with a black slingback pump in leather or peau de soie - closed or peep toe would both look great. The key witha strapless dress is to choose a shoe that lengthens the leg.

I would wear some red peep toe pumps. Black, white, and red always look stylish together. However, since its a wedding you may want to do a black or silver peep toe.

If you're looking for a job in the finance industry, then it's important to understand insurance and how it - along with other things - contributes to healthy saving accounts balances. Whether you're looking for breakdown cover or wanting to compare home insurance, insurance is one of those things that - when it comes to an accident or something similar - will prevent you from having to scout the market for the best loans to pay off repair/accident fees.
