...art student in college? Im a film student at the art institute of portland with a full schedule (5 classes), but in serious need of a part time job. i have applied for several retail jobs and have had no luck, but I'm wondering if there are any jobs in the art/ film field for college students.

see if you can find an on-campus job in the film department. or talk to some of your professors, as they may know of some openings or even internships that you could get. but if none of those work out, then keep looking in the retail or food service industry.

If you're looking for a job in the finance industry, then it's important to understand insurance and how it - along with other things - contributes to healthy saving accounts balances. Whether you're looking for breakdown cover or wanting to compare home insurance, insurance is one of those things that - when it comes to an accident or something similar - will prevent you from having to scout the market for the best loans to pay off repair/accident fees.
