Default my best friend was offered MY old job!!!?

i hired HER 2 months ago. she said she did not want my position as supervisor. now that i got FIRED she has told me she was offered my position as supervisor...and that they were giving her thru the holidays to consider it...ok aside from my ego and heart hurting from this...as the owners of this place already have totally treated me horribly...and aside from the fact that my friend supported me in the decisions i made as supervisor that they were not happy with...which would be nothing of a big deal to most bosses but to these weird people it was...she (my friend) would have done the same or probably had more of an offensive attitude. my question? well...did i REALLY need to be told by her that she was offered this position and that they gave her 'thru the holidays' to think it over. i really don't believe i needed to know this truth. it only hurts me. she told me she didn't want my position. now it sure isn't looking that way, is it. i feel betrayed...

You are no longer with the company, you didn't like it anyway, you have moved on and you might have to move on from your friend as well, you're right she did not need to rub salt in your wounds, she is enjoying a little schadenfreude at your expense. Time to get a new job and new friends..

Would you really rather have be told by someone else? Don't be silly you were going to find out (especially of she takes it!) The job obviously wasn't for you, but it might be good for her. Move on. What you usually find in these circumstances is that there is something out there that you are more suited for - you'll get a better job. Wish her well (if she is your Friend you wont let this come between you) and move on to your own exciting new adventureStop thinking it is a bad thing. You will look back and be glad it happened. And if you dint, then that is because YOU have chosen to let this affect the rest of your life. Are you going to let that happen? You might not have been in charge or the situation but you are in charge of your reaction to it.Choose a positive one. That is whats best for you.Good luck.

If you're looking for a job in the finance industry, then it's important to understand insurance and how it - along with other things - contributes to healthy saving accounts balances. Whether you're looking for breakdown cover or wanting to compare home insurance, insurance is one of those things that - when it comes to an accident or something similar - will prevent you from having to scout the market for the best loans to pay off repair/accident fees.
