Default Royalties-experienced Staff from the Music, Film or TV Industry, London

Staff with experience in Royalties from the Music, Film or TV Industry required for I.T. Client Relationship Management

READ THIS ADVERT ALL THE WAY THROUGH BEFORE APPLYING!

If you currently work in the Music, Film or TV industry, how do you fancy a move to the “other side of the fence” as it were, to service a client base consisting of some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, such as Twentieth Century Fox, Paramount, MTV, Mattel and Harley Davidson?

THE COMPANY:

What we have here is the world leader in the provision of software systems to the music, entertainment and licensing industry. They are a software house with a range of products and this vacancy relates to their Royalty Management System product aimed specifically at the Music, Film and TV industry.

THE JOB:

They are seeking an individual to assist their clients through all stages of the supply process, from sales support (this is NOT a sales position – there will be no sales pressure on you!) to implementation, installation, configuration, project management, training, quality assurance and then support & client relationship management post-implementation. The sales support aspect of the role consists of simply demonstrating the product, NOT selling it! Therefore, we need a confident individual who would relish the prospect of going out and meeting clients, not someone for whom this would be a concern.

Yes, this is an I.T. position as the implementation we’re talking about is the implementation of software products but no, you do not need I.T. technical skills (although that would help – computer literacy would be useful).

THE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

This company is looking for INDUSTRY experience – someone from the Music or Film and TV industry, not necessarily a technical person.

Consequently, the profile of person they are looking for is as follows:

• At least two years of experience of having worked in ideally both the Music industry and the Film & TV industry; if not, then at least one of these sectors

• Hands-on experience in Royalties, eg. current or former Royalty Administrator, Royalty Manager, Royalty Accountant, etc.

Please note, the above experience is essential. We require someone with Royalties experience from the Music industry or the Film & TV industry, or both, You must match the above profile in order to be eligible for this role.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The opportunities here are huge, instead of the “glass ceilings” that one can encounter in the large blue-chips! Is there perhaps nowhere to go upwards or sideways from you current position? Or do you simply fancy a change? Then apply for this! Pick up your industry knowledge and use it to become a sector expert looking after a client bank of approximately 15 entertainment companies, as opposed to solely the one you work for at the moment! At the moment, senior managers and directors are doing all the sales and they need people to help implement what they’ve sold! There is a wide variety of tasks here, you certainly won’t get bored! You will be dealing with a number of clients, many of them major names in the industry. This is a chance to learn a great deal more about the entertainment industry from “the outside in”. Join an expanding company with an expanding client management team, in which the longer term prospects are to run an entire client-servicing department.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a specific requirement for people with Royalties experience from either the Music industry, the Film & TV industry, or both. Please be aware that there is no point in applying if you do not match the above criteria.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 plus discretionary bonus and benefits
Location: London, near Euston and King’s Cross

To apply for this position please submit your CV to Jason.Absalom@parhamconsulting.com

If you're looking for a job in the finance industry, then it's important to understand insurance and how it - along with other things - contributes to healthy saving accounts balances. Whether you're looking for breakdown cover or wanting to compare home insurance, insurance is one of those things that - when it comes to an accident or something similar - will prevent you from having to scout the market for the best loans to pay off repair/accident fees.

A very big thank you to
