How to explain a long break in work service
on a resume? I have recently been a stay at home mom for the past 2 1/2 years. However, due to job instability at my husbands work (in construction) we have decided that it would be best for me to go back to work now instead of a year from now. We are done having children however, the youngest is just now 3 months old. So do you address this long absence on the cover letter or on the resume. I really don't want to put homemaker on my resume itself. Or is that something that I don't put either place and let them ask in an interview. However I want to be considered for the interview. Please Help. Also how do you reference a website that you found the job at. I know that newspapers are supposed to be underlined, is there any such format for a website like craigslist.I want to be truthful because I am not ashamed of the decision I made to spend time raising my kids.
