Default Resume for a high school student w/o work...

...experience? Hi, I'm 17 and will be a senior in High school (tomorrow), and I applied for a job by emailing the manager, at a yogurt place, and she emailed me back asking for a Resume. The thing is, I have no previous work experience, and I do have some community service but I don't remember the exact date. Can you give me some advice on what I should put on my resume? BTW, I have no previous work experience, but I did help out at my parents hair salon for a couple of years, can that be put on the resume? If so under what? Thanks in advance (sorry for so many questions/words)

Look online for a resume template. Check out a few, until you find one you like. Here's a link.Community service counts as related experience.......think hard and note the dates.Helping in your parents' hair salon counts as job experience.Remember to include a section on hobbies and interests, sports, etc.Under references, mention your community service supervisor, your parents, and you could include a personal reference, such as a teacher or family friend. Be sure you ask your references' permission in advance, so that if a prospective employer contacts them, they will land on their feet and give you a good review. If you are a student, tell the manager of the yoghurt place what days and hours you are available. This is important in order to avoid school schedule conflicts.Good luck.

If you're looking for a job in the finance industry, then it's important to understand insurance and how it - along with other things - contributes to healthy saving accounts balances. Whether you're looking for breakdown cover or wanting to compare home insurance, insurance is one of those things that - when it comes to an accident or something similar - will prevent you from having to scout the market for the best loans to pay off repair/accident fees.
